Berenbaum regrets the error.

Mariusz T. Wesolowski, M.A. wrote to Michael Berenbaum Ph.D., who was one of the historical consultants to the NBC mini-series “Uprising”. He quoted the offensive comparison, pointed out the problems, and requested an explanation.

Dr. Berenbaum's response was received Nov 3, the eve of the premiere. He said:

I think you make an important case. I will write the people who developed the website and suggest some corrections. The statement as made is not precise. Much to my chagrin you are correct. I should have written with greater precision.
